- Cover work area, preheat hot glue gun.
- Paint the wood shapes leaving a small uncovered space on the backside for magnet
- After the paint has fully dried, squeeze a small amount of glue wood shapes’ backside. Quickly press and twist magnet into hot glue, pressing against backing.
- Ink the chosen stamp with StazOn and apply design to front of painted wood shape.
- Set piece aside to fully dry for 5 minutes.
- Cover work area with clean paper to collect embossing powder excess. Unscrew, but do not remove lid of powder container for one handed use in step 8.
- Grasping piece by the magnet, press wood shape firmly into watermark ink pad and roll the edges against the pade.
- While holding the magnet, dust with clear embossing powder and gently blow off excess. Lay piece down where you will work with heat tool or on a movable work surface. When applying ink and powder, work one at a time to ensure best quality.
- Preheat heat tool. Ensure magnets can be accessed from all angles without handling. Melting embossing powder is hot and may burn. Magnets will become hot and glue may melt; use caution when handling.
- Keeping the tool 3-5cm away from wood discs, sweep heat back and forth until powder melts.
- Do not leave heat centered in one area; this may result in paint bubbling. Superheating the embossing powder will cause bubbles to form and become cloudy in areas.
- Melting powder turns into a clear glossy surface. Let cool for 60 seconds before handling; grasp the edges and check to make sure magnet is centered. The mirror may slide on the magnet with the application of the heat tool. Turn off tools when not in use.
- And you have wonderful message magnets!
